Cristian Romero, Argentina defender, repeated a provocative act by provoking England midfielder Jude Bellingham after the final whistle of their World Cup 2026 semi-final match.

Argentina managed to defeat England 2-1, after turning a deficit into a win in the final minutes of the match held in Atlanta on Wednesday evening.

After the final whistle, Romero approached Bellingham and celebrated provocatively while saying some words, but the Real Madrid star did not react.

This scene recalls what Romero did to Mohamed Salah, Egypt's captain, after their match in the round of 16 of the current edition.

At that time, the Tottenham defender approached Salah and also celebrated provocatively, but the Pharaohs' legend showed no reaction.

This was not the only provocative moment from the player in yesterday's match; after Enzo Fernández scored Argentina's first goal, Romero approached goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and celebrated in front of him.
