Substitute Lautaro Martinez scored a dramatic late winner for Argentina against England in the World Cup semifinal on Wednesday evening.

England led 1-0 until the 85th minute through Anthony Gordon's 55th-minute goal, before Enzo Fernandez equalized with a rocket from outside the box.

In the 90+2 minute, Martinez scored the second goal to send Argentina to the final, with a header from a cross by Lionel Messi.

Argentina will have a chance to claim the record outright in the final on Sunday against Spain.
