Ethan Mbappe, the Lille star, sent an exciting message to his Moroccan teammate Ayoub Bouchaddy, ahead of the France match in the 2026 World Cup.

Bouchaddy and his Moroccan national team are preparing to face France, led by Kylian Mbappe, on Thursday evening in the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup.

Despite Ethan's support for his older brother Kylian Mbappe with the French national team, he wished Bouchaddy good luck.

Ethan said in a video clip, published by Lille's account on X, 'I hope my friend Bouchaddy plays a good game.'

He added, 'Unfortunately, I have a family member on the French team, so I support the Roosters to beat Morocco.'

He stressed, 'But I sincerely hope that Ayoub Bouchaddy plays a great game.'

Lille star Olivier Giroud also supported his teammate Bouchaddy, saying, 'I wish you a great game, but I cannot wish you victory, my friend. You know perfectly well why.'
