Return of players 'Walker and Maddison' to England national team training

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022..

Doha, November 16 (QNA) - Today's training session of the English national football team saw the participation of defender Kyle Walker and midfielder James Maddison, during the team's open training session at Al Wakrah Sports Club, as part of preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which kicks off next Sunday. Manchester City defender Kyle Walker had undergone groin surgery more than a month ago, while James Maddison suffered an injury during his team Leicester City's match against West Ham in the English Premier League and was forced to leave the pitch. England manager Gareth Southgate felt relief upon seeing Walker and Maddison participating in the initial training, as the two players are on the right track to regain their fitness. The English national team is preparing to face Iran on November 21 in Group B matches, then face the United States on November 25, before meeting Wales on November 29.
