In Spain, voices are rising asserting that Morocco is heading to win the race to host the 2030 World Cup final.

Some media outlets indicate that Morocco, with the help of US President Donald Trump, will win the race, while Spain falls behind, losing the chance to host the final match.

Mundo Deportivo, citing The Objective, reported that Morocco has already secured the votes of the FIFA Council, which will decide who hosts the 2030 World Cup final.

It noted that Morocco controls 22 out of 37 votes, having secured the votes of African, Asian, North American, and Oceanian confederations, thanks to the influence of the Trump administration, as well as Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The newspaper published a photo of US President Donald Trump with the caption 'Trump, an ally of Morocco.'

On the program 'El Larguero' on Cadena SER, speakers contextualized the information, saying, 'Construction of that stadium began a year ago, and it will accommodate 115,000 spectators. The project is scheduled to be completed in December 2027, with about 30% of the work done so far. Work is ongoing 24 hours a day with 10,000 workers at the Casablanca stadium.'

The participants in the program added, 'The impression we came away with after being there is that Moroccan lobbying groups have been working for years, and that this file for them is a matter of state.'

In this context, the statements of the president of the Spanish Football Federation, Rafael Louzán, defending the Spanish bid, seemed to have limited impact.

Louzán said on Cadena SER, 'Spain must host the final match, because this World Cup was born essentially as a joint project between Spain and Portugal, and then Morocco later joined them.'
