45% of Internet Users in the Kingdom Adopt AI Tools
The Communications, Space and Technology Commission reported that 45.2% of internet users in Saudi Arabia have adopted AI tools, with mobile data consumption reaching 53 GB per month per user—triple the global average. Mobile download speeds average 216 Mbps, placing the Kingdom among the top five G20 countries, and 61.3% of users spend seven or more hours online daily.
The Communications, Space and Technology Commission revealed that the adoption rate of AI tools among internet users in the Kingdom has reached 45.2%, a growth that indicates keeping pace with and adopting the latest technologies, and that the average mobile internet data consumption per person reached 53 GB per month, equivalent to three times the global average.

It added in the fifth edition of the 'Internet Saudi Arabia 2025' report that the average download speed for mobile internet reached 216 Mbps, placing the Kingdom among the top five G20 countries in this indicator, confirming the development of digital infrastructure and the high quality of services provided to users.
The report explained that 61.3% of users spend seven hours or more daily using the internet, reflecting the expanding digital dependency in various aspects of daily life.
It also reviewed usage patterns of digital applications and services in the Kingdom, including the most used and downloaded applications in social media, government, sports, and AI applications, along with an analysis of usage pattern differences among various groups. It also highlighted the annual growth rate of Saudi domain names, which reached 18%, reflecting enhanced reliability in internet browsing in the Kingdom.
