Japan succeeds in first test of reusable rocket

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) successfully conducted the first test flight of a reusable rocket today, after taking off, flying, and landing safely at the Noshiro Test Center in northeastern Japan.

The test is part of Japan's efforts to develop low-cost reusable rockets, enhancing its competitiveness in the space launch market and paving the way to eventually replace the current single-use H3 rockets.
