The Saudi Institute of Internal Auditors, in cooperation with IE University Spain, celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of the Executive Artificial Intelligence Program for Internal Auditors in Madrid, under the patronage of Dr. Hussam Al-Anqari, and in the presence of institute leaders and university officials.

Decision-making support using artificial intelligence tools

The program is the fruit of a strategic partnership aimed at qualifying internal audit leaders and enabling them to keep pace with technological transformations, through specialized training focusing on task automation, risk detection, digital pattern analysis, and decision-making support using artificial intelligence tools, in addition to building advanced governance frameworks and leading institutional transformation.

Dr. Al-Anqari emphasized that the graduation of the first cohort reflects the ability of national talents to absorb the latest AI technologies and employ them in developing the internal audit profession, noting that the program is part of the institute's efforts to raise the level of institutional maturity and enhance professional practices.

For his part, CEO Abdullah Al-Shibili explained that specialized leadership programs contribute to empowering professionals to keep pace with rapid developments and enhance their strategic role in supporting decision-making, affirming the institute's continued launch of qualitative programs in internal audit, governance, and oversight.

The program includes advanced knowledge and applied tools in digital risk assessment, supporting the governance system, and enhancing data-driven strategic thinking, in line with international standards for internal auditing. The graduates are expected to lead digital transformation within their institutions and enhance the maturity of professional practices, in support of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
