King Salman International Airport has announced the launch of the unified digital system project for construction project management, in collaboration with Tasami and Procore, a company specialized in building digital systems, aiming to create a unified and integrated digital environment that enhances governance, transparency, execution efficiency, and decision-making across various stages of project asset development.

King Salman International Airport is the first project to activate Procore's digital solutions among companies of the Public Investment Fund. The system will provide a unified and reliable source of information and data, enhance coordination among various entities involved in execution, as well as rationalize spending and improve performance efficiency.

Engineer Mohammed Al-Jasser, CEO of Tasami, said: 'At Tasami, we focus on enabling major national projects by building integrated operational models and modern execution practices that support efficiency and operational sustainability. Our participation in this project represents an important step towards enhancing the readiness of strategic projects through a unified digital work environment, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.'

For his part, Marco Mejia, the acting CEO of King Salman International Airport, stressed the importance of investing in technology from the early construction stages, noting that the project represents a fundamental step for managing the airport's construction work through a unified digital environment that supports governance, integration, and collaboration among various stakeholders. He affirmed that this collaboration reflects the airport's commitment to adopting best global practices to achieve excellence in project delivery.

This collaboration reflects an integration of national vision, local capabilities, and global technical expertise, within the framework of supporting the development of an advanced model for managing major construction projects in the Kingdom.
