Minister of Communications meets Saudi scholarship students in China to boost digital competencies
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, held a meeting with male and female scholarship students in the People's Republic of China, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to China, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, as part of enhancing communication with national talents and encouraging them to contribute to building the future of the digital economy and technical innovation.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Sawaha emphasized that investment in human capital is the fundamental pillar for the Kingdom's future, noting that qualified national talents at international universities are a key element in enhancing the Kingdom's competitiveness and leadership in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, and innovation globally, in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
The meeting witnessed an open dialogue with the students, during which they reviewed their academic and research experiences and future aspirations, along with discussing promising opportunities to contribute to knowledge transfer, localization of advanced technologies, and enhancing innovation and technical entrepreneurship in the Kingdom.
