Ministry of Commerce First Government Entity to Adopt NVIDIA B300 AI Platform
The Ministry of Commerce announced today (Monday) the adoption of the NVIDIA B300 AI platform from company Hument, becoming the first government entity in the Kingdom to adopt this platform, in a step that enhances the position of the Saudi government sector in adopting the latest AI technologies.
The platform will support directing inspection tours, following up on commercial reports, and monitoring violations.
The Ministry explained that this step is an extension of its efforts to develop digital services and facilitate business operations, by accelerating procedures for issuing commercial registers, reserving trade names, and establishing companies, in addition to providing smart services that help save time and increase business management efficiency.
It added that the platform will also support its regulatory work by directing inspection tours, following up on commercial reports, and monitoring violations, especially those related to commercial fraud and e-commerce, enhancing response speed and accuracy of oversight operations.
The Ministry confirmed that it will benefit from AI technologies in analyzing market data and supply chains, monitoring price changes, and building more accurate economic indicators, supporting data-driven decision-making and statistics.
It pointed out that Hument's clouds provide an advanced AI infrastructure, including NVIDIA B300 graphics processing units, enabling the development and operation of AI models on a large scale, while providing the latest technologies in collaboration with global partners.
The Ministry stated that this cooperation embodies the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in building a data-driven digital economy and accelerating the adoption of transformative technologies and AI in the government and private sectors.
