New leaks have revealed details about the upcoming Xiaomi 18 series, which aims to compete with flagship ultra phones from companies like Vivo and Oppo through advanced camera systems and new Leica technologies.

According to information shared by leaker Kartikey Singh, all phones in the series, including the base Xiaomi 18, will feature two 200-megapixel cameras, comprising a main camera and a periscope zoom camera, along with a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro will feature a 6.4-inch screen, with notable improvements in main camera performance thanks to LOFIC technology, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will come with an evolved version of third-generation Leica LOFIC 3.0 cameras to elevate image quality to a new level.

As for the Xiaomi 18 Ultra, the leaks confirm its development continues despite production delays, and it is expected to be the first phone to use a 1-inch 200-megapixel sensor.

Regarding pricing, expectations point to a general increase across the series of approximately 10%, with the Xiaomi 18 Pro's price approaching that of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max's price roughly reaching the level of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in the Chinese market.

In Europe, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra remains the cheapest option among high-end Chinese phones, but the price gap with the Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to gradually close by 2027.

As for other specifications, Digital Chat Station's leaks reveal that the smaller Xiaomi 18 Pro model will feature an entirely new design and lighter weight, with a Snapdragon processor built on a 2nm architecture, a larger battery supporting 100W fast charging and wireless charging, and full water resistance.

With these updates, Xiaomi is poised to strengthen its position in the flagship phone market through a series with advanced photographic features and technological developments that meet user demands in global markets.
