The all-new Galaxy Z series opens a new chapter in the world of foldable devices, introducing three distinct experiences to boost productivity, immersive exploration, and self-expression.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the launch of the new Galaxy Z series, its most complete lineup aimed at expanding the reach of foldable devices to a wider user base. The series sees the first launch of the new design of the Galaxy Z Fold8, offering an entirely new foldable phone experience focused on how people explore, discover, and fully engage with their favorite content.

The lineup also includes the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which brings the concept of superior performance of Galaxy Ultra devices to the world of foldables, offering the highest levels of productivity and a larger professional space for content creation; and the Galaxy Z Flip8, the thinnest and most elegant in the series, designed to facilitate quick interaction and offer broader options for self-expression on the go. As a continuation of seven generations of foldable device leadership and deep user understanding, the new Galaxy Z series offers broader choices than ever by providing three distinct experiences, each designed to meet different user needs.

The Galaxy AI ecosystem has also been developed to adapt to the different designs of the new series devices, enabling a connected experience across the series where insights turn into actionable steps. The ecosystem facilitates handling and managing multiple tasks on the large screens of the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, while the AI-powered FlexWindow on the Galaxy Z Flip8 provides quick access to important information and shortcuts. • When rotated, the same aspect ratio becomes more suitable for reading, providing a comfortable experience when browsing articles, e-books, and long-form content, without needing another device.

Samsung has focused on perfecting the screen engineering in the new Galaxy Z series as the foundation for elevating the foldable experience, with screens that combine the thinnest design, high durability, and smooth display.

• Samsung introduces Flex Titanium technology in this series, based on a titanium-reinforced screen structure designed to help reduce the thickness of foldable devices while maintaining durability. The device combines a titanium alloy layer and an optimized titanium plate, contributing to enhanced screen support, resistance to pressure and shocks, and minimizing the appearance of the crease over time. This structure also refines the opening mechanism by achieving a precise balance between hinge movement, screen tension, and magnetic force, providing a smoother, lighter, and more fluid unfolding experience.

• The main screen brightness reaches 3,000 nits, supports Vision Booster technology, and is equipped with an anti-reflective coating, ensuring image clarity and vibrant colors even in outdoor environments.
