Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Alswaha held a series of meetings in South Korea in the presence of Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission Eng. Haitham Al-Ohali, with the aim of strengthening the Saudi-Korean partnership and expanding cooperation in artificial intelligence, digital economy, technology investment and digital government services.

Discussed cooperation in artificial intelligence, semiconductors and digital infrastructure.

Al-Suwaha met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science, ICT and Future Planning of Korea, Bae Kyung-hoon, to discuss cooperation in artificial intelligence, semiconductors and digital infrastructure, supporting the building of a competitive digital economy and enhancing the Kingdom's position as a global center for artificial intelligence.

He also discussed with Korean Minister of the Interior and Safety Yoon Ho-jung the development of unified government platforms, digital identity, and the use of artificial intelligence to improve government services, in addition to enhancing the partnership between the Digital Government Authority and the Korean ministry.

He held a meeting with the founder and CEO of APL Ventures, Mr. Albert Lee, to discuss investment and partnership opportunities with Saudi entrepreneurial companies and support their global expansion, in addition to exploring investment opportunities in the Saudi market to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

These meetings come within the Kingdom's efforts to expand its international partnerships with governments and tech companies, attract quality investments, and support the transition towards a digital economy based on artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.
