Zain Saudi Arabia, the leading digital services provider, has released its 2025 sustainability report, showcasing its progress in integrating sustainability principles across its various operations and investments, thereby enhancing its role in building a sustainable digital economy and supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals and aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals. The report reflects Zain Saudi Arabia's approach of considering sustainability as a fundamental pillar for long-term value creation, through investment in advanced digital infrastructure, expanding digital inclusion, accelerating the adoption of future technologies, as well as enhancing resource efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of its operations.

The report highlights the company's achievements during 2025 across four interconnected axes: environment, society, innovation, and governance, reflecting the integration of its efforts to achieve a sustainable impact that extends to individuals, communities, and the national economy.

On the environmental front, Zain Saudi Arabia continued to develop its solutions to enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions, operating 51 sites with hybrid solar energy, converting 231 sites from diesel generators to the electrical grid, contributing to a 13.2% reduction in fuel consumption compared to 2024, recycling 65 million documents, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions through the expansion of electric mobility solutions.

As part of its commitment to digital inclusion, the company continued to expand access to its digital services to include 2,448 villages and hamlets across the Kingdom. Additionally, the 'Waad' program enabled more than 207,000 beneficiaries to acquire digital skills, while simultaneously enhancing diversity and inclusion within the workplace, with women in executive leadership positions reaching 36%, along with providing a more inclusive work environment for people with disabilities, reflected in the company receiving several national awards in the fields of social responsibility, health, well-being, and inclusion. 43 entrepreneurs were enabled in the Zain Great Idea accelerator.

Zain Saudi Arabia continued to invest in digital infrastructure and future technologies, with 5G network coverage reaching 103 cities at a coverage rate of 66.7%, in addition to implementing more than 70 programs and workshops to support innovation and artificial intelligence, enhancing the Kingdom's readiness for a more competitive and sustainable digital economy.
