Over the past months, the Al-Qassim region has witnessed rainfall covering the entire area, which has revitalized vegetation and transformed vast tracts of land into vibrant green landscapes full of life and natural beauty, a scene reflecting the beauty of the wilderness and its renewal with the rainy seasons. These rains have led to a diversity and multitude of spring and picnic sites in the provinces and centers of Al-Qassim, with distinctive wilderness spots emerging such as Ghada Park in Unaizah Governorate and Al-Saleel Park in Al-Nabhaniyah Governorate, along with a number of meadows, adding an exceptional aesthetic appeal that attracted residents and visitors seeking natural environments and moderate climate. With improved weather and the availability of green spaces, the influx of picnickers to these sites has increased, turning them into favorite destinations for families and youth, offering a peaceful environment that combines natural beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities. The spring scenes have captured the attention of photographers and documentation enthusiasts, who have captured with their lenses the diversity of vegetation and the flow of valleys and torrents, in images and videos that have been circulated and shared on social media platforms, contributing to highlighting the natural beauty of Al-Qassim and enhancing its presence as a seasonal tourist destination. A number of municipalities in the Al-Qassim region have intensified their presence during this spring season by providing various municipal services such as facilitating access and preparing sites to receive picnickers, and implementing cleaning and awareness campaigns aimed at promoting environmental behavior, including distributing waste bags and awareness guidelines, thereby contributing to the preservation and sustainability of these sites.
