The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced this morning the end of danger for Yanbu Governorate and the city of Jazan, after issuing an early warning via the National Platform for Early Warning in Emergency Situations to warn of a potential danger in the two areas.

The Directorate called on citizens and residents to adhere to the official instructions issued by the competent authorities, and to avoid spreading rumors or footage from unknown sources while following updates.

Safety instructions during the warning

Civil Defense stressed the importance of remaining calm and immediately heading to the nearest safe place inside buildings or interior rooms away from windows, and staying there until the danger passes.

The Directorate emphasized the need to avoid going to open areas during the warning period, and to stay away from glass, balconies, and rooftops, and asked those outdoors to take shelter in the nearest building or behind a solid barrier.

In the same context, the Directorate stressed the importance of avoiding crowding or photography and staying away from dangerous locations to preserve public safety.
