The General Directorate of Civil Defense issued a notification twice this morning stating that the danger has passed for Yanbu Governorate and Jazan City, calling on citizens and residents to adhere to official instructions and avoid circulating rumors or unverified clips while following updates.

It had issued an early warning minutes earlier via the National Platform for Early Warning in Emergency Situations to warn of a potential danger twice in Yanbu Governorate and Jazan Region, emphasizing the need for residents to follow instructions issued by the competent authorities to ensure safety.

Civil Defense stressed the importance of remaining calm and immediately heading to the nearest safe place inside buildings or interior rooms away from windows, and staying there until the danger has passed, while avoiding going to open areas during the warning period.

It also called for staying away from glass, balconies, and rooftops, and urged those outdoors to take shelter inside the nearest building or behind a solid barrier, while emphasizing the avoidance of gathering, taking photos, and staying away from dangerous locations.
