RIYADH — Dust-raising high winds are expected to affect several regions across the Kingdom from Tuesday through the middle of next week, leading to reduced or near-zero horizontal visibility in some areas, according to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM).

From Tuesday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 8, the NCM expects active surface winds to raise dust during the daytime over the Eastern Province, as well as the eastern parts of the Northern Borders Region, Al-Qassim, and Riyadh.

Beginning Wednesday and continuing through the middle of next week, dust-raising surface winds are also forecast to persist along the coastal road stretching from Jeddah to Jazan, resulting in reduced or near-zero horizontal visibility in some areas.
