The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Wednesday) that the impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue over parts of the Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and Najran regions, as well as along the coastal road leading to Jazan, where visibility may reach near zero in parts of the Eastern Province. Meanwhile, there remains a chance for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds over parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha regions, and the southern parts of the Makkah highlands.

The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of (20 - 40) km/h, reaching up to (50) km/h in the southern part, with wave heights ranging from one to two meters, exceeding two meters in the southern part, and the sea condition will be moderate, becoming rough in the southern part.

In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of (20 - 40) km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of (12 - 32) km/h in the southern part, with wave heights ranging from one to two meters in the northern and central parts and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part. The sea condition will be moderate in the northern and central parts and light to moderate in the southern part.
