Heat wave and active winds cause dust in the Eastern Region
The National Center of Meteorology warned on Tuesday of a heat wave and active winds accompanied by dust in the Eastern Region, expecting temperatures to reach between 49 and 50 degrees Celsius.
The center explained that the situation includes the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, in addition to the governorates of Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Nairyah, Qaryat Al-Ulya, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Al-Qatif, Al-Khobar, Buqayq, Al-Id, Dha'blutun, Al-Ahsa, Al-Hajar and their affiliated centers.

The center pointed out that the heat wave caused dust to rise and reduced horizontal visibility to between 1 and 3 kilometers, especially on highways and open areas.
The National Center of Meteorology added that this situation will continue until 9 pm.
