The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on today's weather the continuation of moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail and strong winds in parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Mecca regions, in addition to the southern parts of the Eastern Region.

The report explained that the impact of strong winds stirring up dust and sand still affects parts of those regions, extending to include the coastal road linking Jeddah and Jazan, as well as parts of Tabuk, Medina, Riyadh, and Najran regions.

The report indicated that the weather remains hot during the daytime in parts of the Eastern Region, with a possibility of fog formation during the night and the following morning in parts of the same region.

**Red Sea:**

Surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northerly in the southern part, at speeds ranging between 15 and 40 km/h, and may exceed 50 km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part. Wave heights range between one meter and two meters, with a possibility of exceeding two meters in areas of thunderclouds, and the sea state will be moderate to choppy.

**Arabian Gulf:**

Surface winds will be southwesterly to westerly in the northern part, and easterly to northeasterly in the central and southern parts, at speeds ranging between 12 and 25 km/h, wave heights range between half a meter and one meter, and the sea state will be slight waves.
