The National Center of Meteorology expects continued rise in maximum temperatures over parts of the Eastern Region, and also over parts of Makkah and Madinah regions.

The center noted that the effect of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue over parts of those areas, as well as over parts of Riyadh and Najran regions.

It affirmed that the situation extends to the eastern parts of Asir and Al-Baha regions, and leads to near-zero horizontal visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan.
