Meteorology warns of heat wave, active winds, and raised dust in the Eastern Region
The National Center of Meteorology warned today, Tuesday, of a heat wave affecting the Eastern Region, with temperatures expected to range between 47 and 48 degrees Celsius.
The Center explained that the weather condition is accompanied by active winds reaching speeds between 50 and 59 kilometers per hour, which raises dust and sand and reduces horizontal visibility to between 1 and 3 kilometers, especially on highways and open areas.
In the same context, the Center pointed to the possibility of high waves in the coastal areas of the Eastern Region during the warning period.
It is noted that this weather condition will continue until eight in the evening, according to the forecasts of the National Center of Meteorology.
