The National Center of Meteorology expects in its report on the weather condition today, Monday, in the regions of the Kingdom, that maximum temperatures will remain high in parts of the Eastern Province, as well as in parts of Makkah and Madinah regions. Meanwhile, the effect of active winds stirring up dust and sand continues in parts of those regions, as well as in parts of Riyadh and Najran regions, extending to the eastern parts of Asir and Al-Baha regions, reaching near-zero horizontal visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan.

Red Sea

Surface winds: Southwesterly to northwesterly at 10-28 km/h on the northern part, and northwesterly to northerly at 25-55 km/h on the central and southern parts.

Wave height: From half a meter to one meter on the northern part, and from one and a half meters to two and a half meters on the central and southern parts.

Sea state: Light waves on the northern part, and moderate to rough waves on the central and southern parts.

Arabian Gulf

Surface winds: Northwesterly to westerly at 15-40 km/h on the northern part, and southwesterly to westerly at 10-30 km/h on the central and southern parts.

Weather of the Eastern Province

The National Center of Meteorology warned in its report on the weather condition of a heat wave and raised dust in the Eastern Province today, Monday. The heat wave starts at 11 a.m. and continues until 5 p.m., in Jubail, Khobar, Dammam, Dhahran, Qatif, Ras Tanura, Hafr Al-Batin, Khafji, Nairyah, Qaryat al-Ulya, Al-Ahsa, Al-Idaid, and Buqayq. Accompanied by a rise in temperatures (47-48) degrees Celsius. While the raised dust starts at 9 a.m. and continues until 7 p.m. It includes: Hafr Al-Batin, Khafji, Nairyah, Qaryat al-Ulya, Al-Ahsa, Al-Idaid, Buqayq, Jubail, Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, and Ras Tanura. The associated effects are: very strong winds reaching speeds of 50-59 km/h, and near-zero horizontal visibility (1-3 km).
