Al-Wadi Resort in the Asir region attracted many visitors and vacationers amid rainy summer weather that added further beauty to the resort's events, which combined water, heritage, and entertainment shows in a scene that drew families from inside and outside the region.

Folk arts and heritage shows attract resort visitors.

Visitors interacted with the dancing fountain shows, which are the largest in the Kingdom, while the squares and pathways were adorned with folk events and folklore shows, alongside heritage markets and shops that reflect the architectural and cultural identity of the Asir region.

The open-air theater and surrounding squares witnessed a notable attendance to follow the folk arts and heritage shows, which showcased part of the region's cultural heritage amid great interaction from the audience. Meanwhile, the green spaces and seating overlooking the lake and fountain provided a suitable environment for families to spend integrated leisure time.

It is noteworthy that Al-Wadi Resort is one of the most prominent new tourism projects in the Asir region, spanning an area of over 300,000 square meters, and includes a heritage village, entertainment facilities, restaurants, and cafes.

It also features the dancing fountain, which reaches a height of 120 meters, enhancing the region's status as an attractive tourist destination during the summer season, and aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing the tourism sector and improving quality of life.
