The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report that conditions remain favorable for thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds in parts of the Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions, as well as the southern parts of the highlands of the Makkah region.

The center explained that maximum temperatures remain high in parts of the Eastern Province, with their effects extending to parts of the Riyadh region.

Red Sea

The report indicated that surface wind movement on the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15 to 40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northeasterly at 10 to 28 km/h, possibly exceeding 50 km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.

Wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one meter, possibly exceeding two meters with the formation of thunderclouds in the southern part. Sea state will be light to moderate waves in the northern and central parts, and light, possibly reaching choppy, in the southern part.

Arabian Gulf

In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly at 15 to 38 km/h in the northern part, and northeasterly to southeasterly at 10 to 28 km/h in the central and southern parts.

Wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern part, and from half a meter to one meter in the central and southern parts. Sea state will be light to moderate waves in the northern part, and light in the central and southern parts.
