The National Center for Meteorology reported in its daily weather report — God willing — that the chance remains for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of Jazan, Asir, Al Baha, and the southern highlands of the Makkah region, while the impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand continues in parts of the Makkah, Medina, Hail, Al Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern Province, and Najran regions, reaching near-zero horizontal visibility on the coastal road to Jazan.

The report indicated that surface wind over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 20-40 km/h, reaching 50 km/h in the southern part, with wave heights from 1 to 2 meters, exceeding 2 meters in the southern part, and the sea state will be moderate waves, becoming rough in the southern part.

In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 20-42 km/h in the northern and central parts, and westerly to southwesterly at speeds of 12-32 km/h in the southern part, with wave heights from 1 to 2 meters in the northern and central parts and from half a meter to 1.5 meters in the southern part, and the sea state will be moderate waves in the northern and central parts and light to moderate waves in the southern part.
