Weather: Rising temperatures and active winds in several regions
The National Center for Meteorology predicted in its report on today's weather, God willing, that parts of the Mecca and Medina regions will experience a rise in maximum temperatures, while the impact of active winds raising dust and sand continues in parts of those regions and parts of Al-Jawf, Northern Borders, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, extending to parts of Najran. Thunderstorms accompanied by active winds are also expected in parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and the southern highlands of the Mecca region.

The report indicated that surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at a speed of (18-40) km/h in the northern and central parts, and at a speed of (10-32) km/h reaching (50) km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part. Wave height will be from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one meter, reaching over two meters with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part. The sea state will be light to moderate waves in the northern and central parts, and light waves reaching rough with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.
In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be westerly to northwesterly at a speed of (25-42) km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of (12-35) km/h in the southern part. Wave height will be from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part. The sea state will be moderate waves in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate waves in the southern part.
