Foreign Minister Meets Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence of Ireland
His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today in Jeddah with Her Excellency Helen McEntee, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence of Ireland.
During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed, and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields were discussed, contributing to expanding the horizons of partnership between the Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland and serving the common interests of both countries.
The two sides also discussed the latest regional and international developments, and efforts to de-escalate and create conditions for comprehensive peaceful solutions to end the conflict in the region, stressing the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to address crises, restore stability to the region, and ensure the safety of waterways and freedom of navigation.
They also explored opportunities to enhance economic and trade cooperation, encourage public-private partnerships, and benefit from the opportunities offered by the Kingdom's Vision 2030, thereby boosting trade exchange and mutual investments between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati, and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs branch in the Makkah region, Mr. Fared bin Saad Al-Shehri.
