Oman summoned the Iranian ambassador accredited to Muscat and handed him a formal protest note following the targeting of sites in the Musandam and Al Wusta governorates by drones, affirming its rejection of these acts and calling on Tehran to respect the sovereignty of states and the principles of good neighborliness.

Khalid Al Musalhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Financial Affairs, summoned Iranian Ambassador Moussa Farhang and handed him the protest note, expressing during the meeting Oman's displeasure with these actions, which it described as 'irresponsible'.

The Omani official stressed the necessity of adhering to the provisions of state sovereignty, commitment to principles of good neighborliness, non-interference in internal affairs, and respecting the norms and moral values that bind the two neighboring countries and peoples, emphasizing the importance of avoiding anything that could harm the region's security and stability.
