268 Iranian activists, academics, and former officials issued a statement titled 'We Don't Want War,' in which they demanded an immediate halt to fighting, affirming the Iranian people's right to live in peace and rejecting the continuation of war and escalation.

The statement, published by Iranian media, clarified that it represents the first collective stance from within Iran since the start of the recent attacks, emphasizing the signatories' opposition to any form of war incitement or its continuation.

The statement noted the signatures of several well-known political, civil, academic, and union figures, including lawyer Hassan Asadi, Laila Ahmadund, Ismaili Ismaili from the teachers' union, Secretary General of the Parliament Council Yadollah Eslami, writer Mehdi Afroozmanesh, Shahrbanu Amani, Jalal Jalalzadeh, Parvaneh Salahshouri, in addition to Faizeh Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, daughter of the former Iranian president.

In the same context, the statement included signatures of former parliament members such as Elaheh Koulayi, political activist Zahra Rabbani Amlashi, former vice president Mohammad Sattari Far, former central bank governor Valiollah Seif, former head of the football federation Mohsen Safaei Farahani, economist Hossein Abdo Tabrizi, former parliament member Heshmatollah Falahat Pishe, teachers' union activist Aziz Ghasemzadeh, and member of the 'Reform Front' Fakhr al-Sadat Mohtashamipour.
