Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Thursday that his country does not want the Russia-Ukraine war to spread to the Black Sea.
This came during a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha after their talks in the capital Kyiv.
Fidan added: "Attacking ports, oil tankers and fishing boats and endangering civilian lives in the Black Sea cannot be justified," without further details.
He stressed that "it would be very useful to continue the Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul, similar to what happened before."
