Bloomberg reported that Britain's new Prime Minister Andy Burnham agreed to use British bases for some US strikes on Iran.

Burnham's stance differs from that of his predecessor, Keir Starmer, who at the start of the war on Iran rejected US President Donald Trump's request to allow American aircraft to use British bases to attack Iran.

But Keir Starmer later agreed to allow the United States to use its bases to strike Iranian sites targeting the Strait of Hormuz.
