Crown Prince, Lebanese President discuss regional security and stability

ALBAHA — Following an extensive redevelopment and rehabilitation project, Prince Mashari Park has become a top tourism and nature destination in Al-Baha, featuring 15,000 square meters of green space.

The development aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals to improve urban infrastructure and promote domestic tourism.

The project, executed by Al-Baha Municipality in Bani Hassan Governorate, is part of wider initiatives to upgrade public facilities and enhance quality of life.

Covering 20,000 square meters, the park includes 15,000 square meters of green areas, 2,600 meters of walking paths, a 1,300-square-meter children's play area, a football pitch, and vehicle parking.

The redevelopment also forms part of preparations for the Al-Baha Summer 2026 season, during which the park will host a variety of entertainment and cultural events for residents and visitors.

The summer program will include traditional folk performances celebrating the region's cultural heritage, as well as stalls run by local cottage industry families offering traditional dishes and locally made products.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy seating areas, modern amenities and landscaped walking paths designed to provide a comfortable setting while experiencing the park's natural surroundings.

The park's redevelopment is part of preparations for Al-Baha Summer 2026, which will feature cultural events and local products. Such projects highlight the region's commitment to leveraging its natural beauty for tourism and economic growth, a key priority under national diversification plans.
