Four Arab countries on Thursday condemned Iranian attacks targeting Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, considering them a violation of the sovereignty of the three states and a threat to the region's security and stability.

This came in statements issued by the foreign ministries of Qatar, the UAE, Egypt, and Jordan, which included calls to respect international law and de-escalate, and warnings about the consequences of expanding the conflict in the region.

** Qatar

Qatar condemned 'the repeated Iranian attacks on Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain,' calling them 'a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of those states and an egregious breach of international law.'

It stressed 'the need to spare the region the consequences of unjustified attacks, continue the path of dialogue and diplomacy, de-escalate, and build on the achievements made under the memorandum of understanding, to contribute to strengthening security and stability at the regional and international levels.'

** UAE

The UAE condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian attack that targeted Jordan, affirming that it 'represents a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Jordanian Kingdom and a threat to its security and stability.'

It expressed 'its full solidarity with the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its support for everything that preserves its security and stability.'

** Egypt

Egypt condemned 'the Iranian attacks that violated the airspace of the Jordanian Kingdom, representing a violation of its sovereignty and a dangerous escalation threatening the security and stability of the region and endangering civilian safety.'

Egypt affirmed 'its complete rejection of any actions that affect the sovereignty of Arab states or undermine their security and stability,' stressing 'the need to respect international law and principles of good neighborliness, and to stop all practices that could expand the conflict in the region.'

** Jordan

Jordan condemned 'the renewed brutal Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait.'

Jordan considered what happened 'a flagrant violation of their sovereignty, a threat to the security, stability, and territorial integrity of Bahrain and Kuwait, a dangerous escalation, and a blatant breach of international law and the UN Charter.'
