Egyptian Foreign Minister and Chinese Counterpart Discuss Regional Situations

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, discussed today with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, the latest regional developments.

The meeting, according to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, covered ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional developments, de-escalation efforts in the region, and the importance of preserving freedom of navigation in international waterways.
