Iran: We Will Not Abide by Memorandum if Washington Continues Violations
Iran warns it will not adhere to the agreement with the US if Washington persists in violating its terms.
Iran announced on Saturday that it will not abide by the agreement made with the United States, which aims to end the Middle East war, if Washington continues to violate the terms of this agreement.
Iran's state television quoted Iran's envoy to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, as saying: 'If the United States continues to violate its commitments under the memorandum of understanding, Iran will not consider itself bound by its commitments under this understanding.'
He affirmed that Iran will not consider itself bound by its commitments under the Islamabad understanding if the United States continues to violate its obligations, according to a statement broadcast by the official Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). This warning comes amid rising regional tensions, highlighting the importance of maintaining international commitments to ensure stability in the region and avoid any escalation that could affect peace efforts.
