Libya Condemns Houthi Militia Statements Targeting Saudi Arabia's Security

The Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned statements by the Houthi militia that threaten Saudi Arabia's security and the safety of maritime navigation. Libya affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom and called for adherence to international laws to maintain regional peace and security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government of National Unity expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the statements issued by the terrorist Houthi militia, which target the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and threaten the safety and security of maritime navigation in the region.

The Ministry affirmed in a statement today - according to the Libyan News Agency - the full solidarity of the State of Libya with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to protect its security, territorial integrity, and sovereignty.

It called for compliance with international laws and charters, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, to contribute to maintaining regional peace and security and to avoid further tension and escalation in the region, reiterating its support for international efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the area.
