Libya condemns Houthi militia statements targeting the security of the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government of National Unity expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the statements issued by the terrorist Houthi militia, which target the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and threaten the safety and security of maritime navigation in the region.

The ministry affirmed in a statement today — according to the Libyan News Agency — the full solidarity of the State of Libya with the Kingdom in all measures it takes aimed at protecting its security and territorial integrity, and preserving its sovereignty.

It called for adherence to international laws and conventions, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, in a way that contributes to maintaining regional security and peace, and spares the region further tension and escalation, reaffirming its support for international efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
