New US Strikes Target Iran
The United States launched new strikes on Iran this evening (Wednesday), as Iranian media reported explosions in Chabahar and Konarak in the south of the country.
Struck about 90 Iranian military targets
The US Central Command held Iran responsible for the recent attack that targeted commercial ships and their civilian crews while sailing in the international waterway, describing the attack as 'unprovoked aggression'.
It noted that US forces struck about 90 Iranian military targets in the additional round of strikes.
Explosions were heard in several locations along the Iranian coast, shaking the coastal cities of Bandar Abbas, Konarak, and Chabahar, causing power outages in parts of them.
For his part, US President Donald Trump said the strikes on Iran were in response to attacks on ships, warning that if Tehran does more, the situation will worsen.
