Pakistan expressed deep concern over the rising tensions in the region, stating that renewed conflict serves no party's interests. In a statement, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said: “Pakistan calls on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and refrain from any steps that would undermine peace and stability in the region.” The ministry stressed that dialogue and diplomatic engagement remain the only way to achieve lasting peace, emphasizing that there is no alternative to continued political and diplomatic efforts to reach the common goals of enhancing regional security and stability. Pakistan called on all parties to uphold their commitments under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, considering the memorandum a lasting foundation for promoting mutual understanding, respect, and shared prosperity across the region and beyond. The Foreign Ministry affirmed that Pakistan will continue to be ready to play its role in supporting peace efforts and promoting dialogue among the parties concerned.
