Round of Political Talks between Qatar and North Macedonia

Doha, July 05 (QNA) - A round of political talks was held today in Doha between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The Qatari side in the political talks was headed by His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, while the Macedonian side was headed by His Excellency Mr. Timcho Mucunski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Macedonia.

During the round of political talks, relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them were discussed, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.

Following the round of talks, the two governments signed three agreements: an agreement to hold political consultations between the two foreign ministries, an agreement in the field of diplomatic training and qualification, and an agreement on mutual exemption from visa entry requirements for holders of diplomatic, special, and official passports.

The agreements were signed on behalf of the State of Qatar by His Excellency the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and on behalf of the Macedonian side by His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
