US President Donald Trump threatened to destroy all energy facilities and bridges in Iran if it does not agree to sit at the negotiating table.

Trump said in an interview with Fox News on Tuesday that the United States has 'delivered very strong strikes' to Iran, adding: 'We are hitting everything they have along the coast.'

He added: 'We will strike them hard tonight, tomorrow, and the night after. If they do not sit at the negotiating table, we will destroy all their energy facilities and all their bridges.'

He indicated that the attacks related to the Strait of Hormuz will continue 'until I say: enough.'

Trump considered that the only way to negotiate with Iran is 'using force,' affirming that the United States is following this approach.

Despite Iran's announcement of closing the Strait of Hormuz again to navigation amid the current escalation, Trump added that the strait is open to all who wish to transit, 'except Iran.'

On Tuesday evening, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced launching new attacks and resuming the naval blockade on Iran.

Tehran responds by bombing what it says are US military facilities in Arab countries, but some of these countries announced that Iranian attacks resulted in civilian casualties and damaged civilian facilities.

On June 18 last, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding that included a ceasefire, and they began negotiations mediated by Pakistan and Qatar to end the aggression that the US and Israel started against Iran on February 28 last.

But US President Donald Trump announced on July 8 the end of the ceasefire due to renewed escalation.

Washington supports the passage of commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz via a route other than the one set by Iran, which the latter rejects, and it targets any ship that does not coordinate with it before crossing the strategic strait for global energy supplies.
