Trump threatens to strike Iranian bridges and power plants if ship targeting continues
US President Donald Trump threatened on Wednesday to strike bridges and power plants in Iran if Tehran continues targeting ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump wrote on his Truth Social account: "From now on, every time the Islamic Republic of Iran fires at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether by missile, missile, drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy one bridge or one power plant, including those near or inside the capital Tehran."

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that the eleventh consecutive night of military strikes against Iran had been completed, confirming the targeting of military operations centers, naval capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone warehouses, and military logistics facilities.
The command said the strikes aim to further weaken Iran's ability to threaten commercial navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, noting that Tehran has attacked more than 30 commercial ships during their transit through the international waterway over the past three months.
