Iran Responds to Trump After Threat to Target Its Infrastructure
أكد وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي أن طهران سترد بقوة على أي هجمات تستهدف منشآت البلاد الحيوية، وذلك في أعقاب تهديدات أمريكية سابقة مرتبطة بالملاحة في مضيق هرمز.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that Iran will retaliate in kind to any bombing of its infrastructure, after US President Donald Trump threatened to do so in response to Iran targeting ships trying to transit the Strait of Hormuz.
Araghchi wrote on platform X: 'Our defense doctrine is clear: an eye for an eye,' commenting: 'Any attack on Iran, including on our infrastructure, will provoke a strong and decisive response.'

He added: 'Those who contribute to such an attack, whatever the contribution, will also be considered legitimate targets.'
Developments in the Iranian-American War
Earlier, US President Donald Trump confirmed that any Iranian attack on a ship in the Strait of Hormuz would be met with US bombing of a bridge or power plant, according to 'Al-Ikhbariya'. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority also announced that Washington informed Israel of its intention to escalate attacks against Iran in the coming days, according to 'Al-Arabiya'.
