Two children dead, more than 15 rescued after ferry sinking in Syria
Two children died after a ferry carrying more than 35 civilians sank in the Euphrates River in the city of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
The Syrian Arab News Agency reported that the ferry sank after colliding with a floating military bridge while crossing the Euphrates River in Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, resulting in the death of the two children and the rescue of more than 15 people.
For his part, the Syrian civilian indicated that rescue teams continue search operations for the missing.
