Two children died after a ferry carrying more than 35 civilians sank in the Euphrates River in Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria. The Syrian Arab News Agency reported that the ferry sank after colliding with the floating military bridge while crossing the Euphrates River in Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, resulting in the death of the two children and the rescue of more than 15 people. For his part, the Syrian civilian pointed out that rescue teams are continuing search operations for the missing.
