Two people died in flash floods caused by heavy rains that swept the US state of West Virginia, according to the governor’s office.
Authorities did not disclose the identities of the victims or details of their deaths, and the two cases are the first confirmed fatalities from the floods that followed rainfall averaging about 18 centimeters in some areas.
