Iran officially announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz until further notice, and the navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed that no ship will be allowed to pass, according to Al Arabiya.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported on Sunday that it fired warning shots at a ship that attempted to sail in an unauthorized route, indicating that it will respond to any threat that uses the incident of firing on the ship as a pretext.
